Replica magneto driveshaft assembly comes assembled with:

hex top,

gear,

and cast iron base which,

will accept tachometer drive as original.

Cast iron base has a raw unplated finish and pre-installed bushings.

Drive ring and center hub feature zinc plating.

Assembly includes spiral to drive tachometer as original.

Drive gear must be installed with a drive gear pin,

when installing the pin press in and grind off excess length.

Base will also accept a hex drive magneto unit,

cable driven gear and 34-1/4" tachometer cable.

Tachometer drive gear and cable available separately.

Order magneto head separately.

This is the real deal Sportster advance mechanism as the factory supplied,

from 1965-1970 on the XLCH models,
